Part Five: Seven Pillars of Healthy Living

In Part Five Galina progresses from healthy eating to healthy living. She talks about healthy breathing, hydration, nourishing emotion, maintaining a higher energy level by cleansing the lymphatic system, exercise, eating living foods, and cleansing the body. These are the main elements of healthy living that Galina believes would be of benefit to every single person.

Breathing tips

Here are some tips that you may find useful, on a day-to-day basis.

Watch your breath and listen to it. Close your eyes and silence your mouth for a few minutes, and listen to the flow of your breath, watching with your mind something that is invisible and powerful at the same time. It is a great exercise to do for a couple of minutes a few times a day, to relieve stress and energize your whole body.

Exercise your lungs: consciously fill the upper, middle and lower lobes of your lungs with oxygen, and then release the air. Remember that your lungs also cradle and massage your heart. In times of stress, you can consciously use your breathing to help your heart slow down.

Use every opportunity to get fresh air. The air is much fresher and crispier early in the morning, which is the best time to go for a short brisk walk and set your body and mind for a healthy, rewarding day by nourishing them with oxygen.

Happy people have good digestion

Happy, easy-going, emotionally balanced people can generally manage to stay cool in most situations of everyday life. They understand, or know intuitively, what they can change and what they can't, and they instinctively stay away from situations that they can not or choose not to change. They tend not to lose their temper very easily and they don't exaggerate the importance of little events.

Nevertheless, when they are confronted with a genuinely stressful situation, they can mobilize themselves, muster all the adrenalin they need and do what is required under pressure.

This balanced approach to life enables all their systems, including the digestive system, to work quite efficiently, even, for some, with the limited resources of their inadequate diets.
