The Colon Hydrotherapy Manual and Workbook
Typical colon hydrotherapy scenarios
Starting your own colon hydrotherapy business
Atonic bowel
Sometimes you observe the opposite, the bowel is almost flat, with virtually
no intestinal tone, and the water flows in and out of the bowel almost
mechanically, virtually without engaging the bowel itself.
Interpretation
and action
This can also mean several things (there are a lot more,
but this is a start):
- not enough fibre in the digestive tract;
- possible laxative
abuse;
- possible anorexia and bulimia in earlier years;
- effect
of medications;
- effect of illegal drugs.
Alternating hot and cold water could give the bowel the toning exercise
helping it to eliminate fully. Use vibration and massage (without
the heat), foot and hand reflexology and so on.
Indications of potential
bowel problems:
- Very yeasty stools through out the treatments
or just in one section of the bowel. A small amount of yeasts
will be almost always present, but too much yeast may be a symptom
of dysbiosis;
- Foreign
objects in the stool such as numerous unprocessed bits of foods.
You should make allowances for such foods as seeds, nuts and sweet
corn that very few people chew properly. However, if you see a
lot more than that, it may benefit from further investigation;
- Too much mucus and stringy mucus;
- Different colour
variations: stool comes in different colours, often compacted
in one tight ball;
- The stool is too dry and dehydrated throughout
despite the client asserting you that they drink enough water;
- Dark
blood in stools;
- Fresh blood in stools (other than minimal
amounts);
